Racing Looking to the Future

2, 2006, (Tulsa, OK.) – Vision Racing announces that in their
“vision” to move forward to NASCAR Racing, Vision Racing
and Damon Lusk part ways.
“We
announced before the season started that we are, and have been looking
to move into other racing venues, such as the Busch and Craftsman Truck
series on a limited basis” says team owner Adrian Berryhill. “Damon
is a great driver and while we would have loved for him to drive for
us, Damon wanted to run a full season in the ARCA Re/Max series”.
Along
with this move Vision is currently in talks with another driver that
have raced in those venues previously. “We feel that with the
cars and equipment that we currently have this is the right move for
us” says Adrian. “We are currently building a cup car to
make a run in Kansas and at Texas Motor Speedway and feel that we have
a great chance for placing in those races.” The team placed 5th
at Daytona in the opening race and had a run for the lead on the last
lap.
Damon
has currently signed a deal with Brack Maggard Racing (BMR) for the
rest of the 2006 ARCA Re/Max season. “We would have loved for
Damon to stay with us but he felt this the series he wanted to stay
and we wish him well.”
