Damon Lusk and the
Vision Racing Team would like to welcome FMG's Fastruck Racing Series
as a sponsor for the Pocono 200. FasTruck Racing Series is one of the
fastest growing racing series' in the United States. The Central Florida
based group, founded in 1996, has become the marquis "Truck"
series in the Southeast, with drivers from all parts of the country
participating. It is by far the most competitive truck racing series
of its kind and often referred to as the model "feeder system for
the ARCA Re/Max Series, and Nascar's Craftsman Truck Series". The
FasTruck Racing Series plans to expand its very affordable series to
Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Virginia in the near future.
Also, a big boost of confidence was added to the Series as FMG announced
they will be airing the Series on a national level through Fox's Fuel
TV and other affiliates reaching a total of about 50 million homes.
FMG's FASTKIDS program
is an opportunity for youngsters ages 12-16 to climb into a full size
race truck and cut their teeth on short tracks in the Southeast. "We
want to give all of our young drivers something to look forward to,
and having out name on an ARCA Re/Max Series car lets everyone involved
know that we plan to do everything we can to help them get to the next
level in their young racing career," stated Nikolaos Renieris.
